Crystal Equipment Elemental Mastery System
In the earliest age of Pegaz-OTS 8.6, crystal weapons were feared for their excess.
They struck hard, burned fast, and left nothing behind but imbalance.
What exists now is not a resurrection.
It is what survived after twenty years of decay —
controlled power bound by discipline.
Core Concept
Crystal Equipment Development is a long-term progression system affecting:
- Crystal Arrow
- Icek
- Solar Axe
- Thunder Hummer
- Crystal Swords
- Crystal Wands & Rods
These weapons do not grow stronger on their own.
Their true power depends on the wielder’s
elemental mastery.
Progress is slow by design.
This system exists to extend gameplay by
months and years, not sessions.
Weapon Damage Foundation
- Damage is calculated dynamically per hit
- Based on weapon skill and player level
- Hard damage caps prevent excessive scaling
- No flat or static damage bonuses
All elemental effects scale directly from the
real damage dealt by the weapon.
If the hit is weak, the element will be weak as well.
Elemental Mastery
Each element is trained independently.
Mastery represents the percentage chance
for that element to activate on hit.
Maximum mastery chance per element:
80%.
| Element |
Condition Applied |
Visual Feedback |
| Fire | Burning | Orange crystal text |
| Ice | Freezing | Blue crystal text |
| Earth | Poison | Green crystal text |
| Death | Curse | Dark crystal text |
| Holy | Dazzle | Golden crystal text |
| Energy | Energy Shock | Purple crystal text |
Damage Over Time (DOT)
- Each activated element applies a delayed condition
- Total ticks: 5
- Each tick deals 20% of the original hit
- Total potential elemental damage: 100%
Elemental damage is always proportional.
Even minimal hits will deal at least
1 damage per tick.
Crystal Feedback System
When an element awakens, a crystal message appears
above the player, not the target.
- Messages are queued to prevent spam
- Maximum of 3 active messages per player
- Displayed sequentially with a short delay
- Each element uses its own color
This feedback represents the wielder sensing
the crystal resonance — not a visual effect on the enemy.
Soul Bank
Elemental mastery is not bought with gold.
It is paid with soul points.
- Souls can be deposited at the Crystal Master NPC
- Stored souls are permanent
- Withdrawals are impossible
Once offered, a soul is never returned.
Mastery Upgrade Cost
Each mastery level increases activation chance by 1%.
Upgrade Cost = Next Level × 3000 Soul Points
Mastery grows linearly,
but the time required grows relentlessly.
The Crystal Master
An ancient teacher exists within the world.
He does not grant power —
he only unlocks what the crystal already holds.
- Stores soul points
- Upgrades elemental mastery
- Tracks long-term development
He will never rush you.
He will never undo your choices.
Design Philosophy
This system was built to oppose
instant gratification and short-lived progression.
It is not designed for fast farming.
It is not designed for resets.
Crystal Equipment is a time investment system.
Power is earned slowly, visibly, and permanently.
Final Note
Old crystal weapons relied on excess.
These rely on restraint.
If you seek quick results, the crystal will remain silent.
If you seek mastery over time —
it will answer.
